Adam Cornish will travel to the 2012 Milan Salone as the winner of the 2011 Corporate Culture Design Pitch Event held at this year’s IDEA Week in Melbourne.
His winning design, Monkey Pots, received the most votes from the audience as they picked their favourite from five different designers.
“The design pitch gave me the opportunity to pitch an Australian designed and made product,” says Adam. “The feedback I received from the panel and audience members was extremely encouraging and I look forward to introducing this product and others in Milan in 2012.”
The design panel included Corporate Culture director Richard Munao, Hamish Guthrie, Shareen Joel and Ingrid Bakker who listened to the five designers pitch their pieces and then asked a series of questions on topics ranging from design inspiration to manufacturing.
