Wood look aluminium is the most popular building material to be used on modern house facades, not only because it requires minimal maintenance (no re-coating, sanding or re-sealing) but also due to its eco-friendly efficiency, modern and luxurious design that will last for years to come.
One of WOODonALI’s most recent projects at Palm Beach, Gold Coast, shows a beautiful, modern and endless wood look batten façade. On this project the previous dwelling was demolished on the angled block and modern duplexes with impressive front façade were built, something that has not been built in this area before.
Generally, architects and builders are used to two-batten, self-mating or as we name it self-clipping wood look systems because it is easier to install and use. Well, installation and use of full lengths battens also is as easy as self-clipping system, it is just not many people are familiar with it. It might come as a surprise for some architects and builders, but this front façade at the Palm Beach project was built with full lengths of wood grain finish, 50×50 round edge box sections that come in a standard 6.5m length. Full length aluminium lengths are cut to appropriate sizes and installed accordingly on a welded framework or with wood grain U-channels and angles with screws or rivets.
WOODonALI has a wide range of sizes of full-length battens for façades. The most popular sizes are box sections of 20×20, 50×50 square and round edge, 40×40 and rectangular sizes of 50×25, 100×50, 150×50. WOODonALI also offers self-clipping batten systems in 65×16, 45×45, 51×30, 70×30, 100×50, 150×50 and 200×50 sizes.
WOODonALI customers not only have a wide range of size options available to them, they also have 40+ wood grain colours to choose from. Use your desired wood grain product and colour from WOODonALI to create a modern, luxury façade for your client’s project. The sky is the limit!
