Staron solid surface offers heighted hygiene for the healthcare industry, without compromising on design. The expansion of the Medical Imaging Department at Redcliffe Hospital showcases the design flexibility Staron is renowned for.
The space is inviting with its combination of whites, blues, woodgrains, and subtle pops of pastel tones. The selection of Staron Pebble Swan ties these colours together nicely, with its white base and various pastel particulates scattered throughout.
The creative team from Thomson Adsett showcase the attributes Staron Solid Surface offers to this healthcare project. Greeting you at reception, Staron is clad to the entry wall and flows seamlessly to the desktop. Taking advantage of the thermoform properties to achieve soft curves that deliver multipurpose counter heights. Staron is also seamlessly clad to the large wall area of the staff station and applied to the benchtops. The inclusion of the curve detail to this application softens the overall design of the staff station area. An easy surface to router in the signage was also included into the bulkhead of both applications.
This is another excellent project outcome from the Thomson Adsett team, designing and delivering engaging places nationally and internationally for fifty years, with a focus on function, context, ongoing performance and of course, aesthetics.
Tested in Australia, Staron® Solid Surfaces is Group 1 Fire rated to AS5637.1 (AUS) & Group 1S Fire rated to C/VM2 (NZ) and does not contain harmful silica.
