Two Tease Jolie Anvil Handle wins Good Design Award
The winners of Australia’s peak international design awards – the highest honour for design and innovation in the country – have been announced for the 2020 Good Design Week.
The Jolie Anvil Lever/Door Handle from Two Tease Architectural Hardware received a prestigious Good Design Award Winner accolade in the Product Design Hardware and Building category in recognition for outstanding design and innovation.
Judges praise Anvil’s ‘hand-crafted quality’
The Good Design Awards Jury praised the Jolie Anvil Lever/ Door Handle from Two Tease Architectural Hardware, commenting:
“A modern twist on a very old artisan manufacturing process with an honesty to the design language that exudes an old world charm. There is a certain sense of hand-crafted quality to this product range that appeals to the senses.”
Dr. Brandon Gien, CEO of Good Design Australia said: “Receiving a Good Design Award is a significant achievement given the very high calibre and record number of entries received in 2020.”

About the Jolie Anvil Lever/ Door Handle
The Jolie Anvil Lever/Door Handle is solid brass and handmade by European artisan manufacturers using traditional sand-cast methods. Because the handles are made by hand, each piece is unique, with almost imperceptible differences in the finish. The Anvil range has an industrial look which compliments the other Jolie designs such as One, Verve, Brute and Contour. Available in Aged Gold, Old Silver, and Black. The ANVIL range consists of door, window hardware and also cabinet hardwares.
