RIDGID releases the PC116 powered tubing cutter
RIDGID, a trademark recognised by professional tradespersons and engineers, has released an efficient, portable and durable professional tubing cutter that can quickly cut stainless steel, carbon steel, copper, aluminium and plastic tubing. Dubbed the PC116, the tool is the ideal choice for on-site commercial and residential applications.
It boasts a quick-acting engagement feed system, a high cutting speed and the ability to change the cutter wheel without any additional tools. For plumbing professionals who need fast and accurate tube cutting on-site, the PC116 is the go-to choice.
But just because it’s fast, doesn’t mean it’s inefficient. The cutter wheel allows for a clean cold cutting operation, resulting in a smooth cutting end face every time.
The PC116 is built to last. With a high-strength alloy steel cutter wheel and anti-corrosive treatment on the rollers, the tool will work time and time again. Additionally, it weighs only 14kg, making it easy to move around if needed.
It has a cutting capacity of 12-116mm tubes (outer diameter) and can cut through a maximum of 3mm for metallic tubes and 6mm for plastic tubes. Its reaming capacity goes up to 50mm with an optional accessory and uses a 230V, 705W motor for power.
