Introducing ALMWIESN from Austaron
Austaron have paired colourful flower petals and marguerites with hand-cut Alpine hay from the Tyrolean Alps to create ALMWIESN, their newest floral surface covering.
The biophilic design increases wellbeing and reduces stress, while the vibrant colours invoke positive emotions. The fragrance of natural hay improves the indoor climate, creating a positive impact on the interior atmosphere.
The surface is suitable not only for commercial projects but for endless applications around the home including bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms.
Austaron’s new surface is climate conscious with 1kg of hay binding approximately 0.45kg of CO2, all the while helping keep the biodiversity of the inner alpine highland meadows alive.
ALMWIESN is available in a range of backings. The natural flax fleece backing is made of 100% natural flax and is unbleached and breathable. The flax self-adhesive backing is made of a strong self-adhesive film and is PVC-free.
