Compact appliances, expanded design freedom in the modern kitchen

As kitchens continue to evolve into multifunctional spaces, designers are increasingly seeking appliance solutions that support flexibility without compromising performance.

The Electrolux Group’s range of compact appliances responds to this shift, enabling kitchens to be composed with greater freedom through modular layouts that suit contemporary living patterns.

Compact appliances can be arranged in clusters, vertical columns or horizontal runs, allowing designers to tailor configurations to the architecture of the space and the needs of the client. Importantly, Electrolux’s compact products are designed to align seamlessly with full-size Electrolux appliances, ensuring visual continuity across the kitchen while opening up new possibilities for proportion and balance.

At the heart of the range is a focus on performance-led innovation. The 800 Series SteamBoost Steam Oven introduces steam cooking as a core design feature rather than a specialist add-on. With three steam modes and the Steamify® Steam Assistant, the oven automatically adjusts steam levels based on the selected temperature. This simplifies the cooking process while preserving nutrients and moisture, removing the need to add fats to enhance flavour. A colour touch screen, WiFi connectivity and Velvet Closing assisted soft closure reinforce its premium positioning, while the integrated cooking sensor offers consistent results across a range of dishes.

The 600 Series Microwave and Grill complements the SteamBoost oven in both form and function. With 1000 W microwave power and a 1900 W grill, it supports fast, efficient cooking within a compact footprint. Touch controls and a large LCD screen provide intuitive operation, supported by 28 pre-programmed recipes and temperature recommendations that suit everyday use.

For kitchens that integrate entertaining and lifestyle elements, the 900 Series built-in wine cellar adds further design versatility. Designed to store up to 18 bottles, it features push and pull opening, electronic controls and LED interior lighting. Black and anti-fingerprint stainless steel finishes ensure it sits comfortably within refined kitchen compositions, whether positioned within a column or as part of a horizontal run.

Completing the offering is the built-in coffee machine, which brings café-style functionality into the domestic kitchen. With a 350 g bean capacity, multicup function and milk system for lattes and cappuccinos, it supports daily rituals while maintaining a clean, integrated aesthetic.

Together, the Electrolux Group’s compact appliances enable designers to create kitchens that are modular, efficient and visually cohesive, supporting contemporary lifestyles through thoughtful appliance integration.
