JEE-O Cone tapware elevates bathroom design through form and function

Dutch brand JEE-O continues to refine the role of tapware within contemporary bathrooms with the introduction of its Cone collection, a sculptural series defined by elemental geometry and tactile detail.

Developed in collaboration with Dutch designer Osiris Hertman, the range reflects a growing shift in bathroom design, where fixtures are no longer purely functional but central to the overall spatial experience.

As bathrooms evolve into spaces for retreat and restoration, designers are placing greater emphasis on atmosphere. Hardware now plays a critical role in shaping that mood. The Cone collection responds to this shift with a family of tapware and shower elements that balance robustness with refinement. Built from clean, conical forms, each piece is softened by subtle curves, most notably in the rounded lever handle that enhances both comfort and usability.

The collection extends across a comprehensive suite of applications, including freestanding, wall-mounted and top-mounted mixers, as well as hand and overhead showers. This consistency allows designers to carry a cohesive language throughout the bathroom, reinforcing a sense of calm and order. The forms themselves sit comfortably between object and architecture, contributing to the visual rhythm of a space rather than receding into the background.

For Lammert Moerman, this approach builds on a long-standing ambition to imbue bathroom fixtures with emotional and spatial significance. Since founding the brand in 2004, Moerman has positioned tapware as a tool for both energising and calming the user, depending on its context and execution.

Functionally, the Cone collection integrates advanced touchless technology, aligning with increasing demand for hygiene and water efficiency in both residential and commercial settings. Infrared sensors enable hands-free operation while remaining visually discreet, ensuring that performance does not compromise the integrity of the design.
