Looking for Unique Lighting?
Distinctive lighting has become a popular way of creating a style statement in a room. Lighting has the ability to transform the tone and mood of a room as well as the aesthetic depending on the structure, materials and textures of the light or lamp.
Lighting design has consequently become increasingly unique and daring. The Zettel’z 5 chandelier by Ingo Maurer for instance is an interactive stainless steel piece that features a variety of attached love letters in various languages.
There are also some blank pages so the owner can personally add to the design. The Lole collection designed by Enrico Corradini features a metal chrome frame with moulded glass diffusers of varying lengths that can be rearranged into different variations.
Spherical chandeliers have also become a popular addition to homes as they provide a look that’s both modern and classically elegant. The Omer Arbel 28 chandelier for instance is a collection of circular balls which contain inner shapes and a halogen bulb. This unique look was created by using a glass blowing technique. Winne Lui has re-shaped the concept of a chandelier even further with her bizarre and distinct chandelier that is comprised on an array of intriguing objects such as ornaments, feathers, jewels and personal effects.
