The Commercial Series Hinged Door features a robust 50mm sill, which can be rebated to achieve a zero threshold installation, allowing for seamless integration between spaces. This is an increasingly important feature where accessibility and ease of movement are paramount.

Assembled by hand with stainless steel fixing plates and fabricated with heavy-duty extrusions, the hinged door maintains exceptional squareness for outstanding durability. This meticulous construction ensures reliability and maintains structural integrity, even when under frequent use.

Sealing and Compliance

Quality seals are fitted along the perimeter of both the frame and the panel which provides resistance against air and water filtration. This design ensures compliance with AS2047 – the Australian Standard for Windows and External Glazed Doors. This compliance guarantees optimal performance in various weather conditions, maintaining the integrity of the interior environment.

Flexible Glazing Options

In line with AS1288 – the standard for Glass in Buildings – Rylock Windows & Doors offers a range of glazing options. Each door comes standard with Grade-A Safety Toughened Low-e Double Glazing, filled with argon gas. This advanced glazing not only enhances safety but also improves energy efficiency by minimising heat transfer, making your home more comfortable and reducing energy costs.

Customisable Hardware and Finishes

The Commercial Series Hinged Door is equipped with Austyle™ DDA Compliant or Tapered Level architectural hardware, available in black, white and satin brushed stainless steel. This selection allows for customisation to match the aesthetic requirements of any project.

Rylock Windows & Doors additionally provides an extensive range of 30 standard powder coat frame colours and textures, all tested for durability by the CSIRO. This variety ensures that the door can be tailored to complement the overall design scheme of any building.

Versatile Configurations and Applications

With open-in, open-out and French Door configurations, the Commercial Series Hinged Door can be adapted to suit the specific needs of different spaces. The product is available in heights up to 3050mm and widths up to 1250mm, offering flexibility for various architectural designs. Frame-only options further expand the possibilities, allowing for timber door panels to be fitted if desired.

The frame can also be coupled with other products in the Commercial Series, thanks to its 125mm product depth, creating a cohesive and integrated look across different architectural elements.
