A New Angle on Shower Elegance

In the world of bathroom design, the smallest details often make the biggest impact. The Portrait Hinges introduce a refined new shape to the Australian market – the first of its kind in 30 years, offering designers and homeowners an elegant alternative to traditional shower hardware.

Unlike conventional shower hinges, which are short, wide, and positioned horizontally, these hinges take a fresh, vertically oriented approach – mirroring the proportions of tall, frameless shower screens. They are also 30 percent thinner than traditional hinges. The result is a sleek, cohesive aesthetic that enhances the overall visual harmony of the bathroom.

A New Angle on Shower Elegance

Crafted from solid brass, the Portrait Hinges combine strength with sophistication. Many shower hinges compromise on durability with weight-saving clamping plates, but these hinges are engineered to support larger glass panels with just two hinges, accommodating up to 45kg per pair. This allows for a cleaner, more minimalistic design without excessive hardware cluttering the space.

Beyond their striking form, these hinges boast intuitive functionality. A self-closing, self-centring mechanism from 25 degrees ensures seamless operation, enhancing the user experience while maintaining the pristine alignment of frameless glass doors.

Available in four sophisticated finishes – Chrome, Matt Black, Brushed Nickel, and Brushed Brass – these hinges cater to a range of design aesthetics. Whether paired with bold black fixtures for a statement look or brushed brass accents for a warm, luxurious feel, they provide the perfect finishing touch to any contemporary shower design.
