Aztec releases ProFlash Flexi Roll as lead alternative
Aztec Australasia, a plumbing supplier to both the plumbing and construction industry, has released the ProFlash Flexi Roll, which was developed as an alternative to lead flashing on tiled roofs.
The ProFlash Flexi Roll has expanded beyond its initial lead alternative and is a versatile roof solution in its own right. Unlike lead flashings, the Flexi Roll suits almost any roof material including metal, tile, fibreglass and polycarbonate.
ProFlash Flexi Roll membrane material contains an innovative polymer made of advanced isobutylene EPDM embedded with aluminium mesh. It also boasts the same level of malleability as lead, making it easy for plumbing professionals to pick up and use.
Because of its material, it’s suitable for drinking water and complies with AS/NZS 4020. It’s also toxic-free, UV rated/tested and complies with AS/NZS 2904: 1995 Damp Proof Courses and Flashings.
When ProFlash Flexi Roll is installed by a qualified tradesperson, it will form a water-tight seal on the roof that will be long-lasting and complete the required seal from any water leakage.
The product comes in Rolls of 5m and has three different widths: 280mm, 370mm and 560mm.
