February 4, 2011, Las Vegas, NV — Three V Enterprises (3VE), a Las Vegas-based corporation and presenters of the GAVA Awards announces a call for entries for the 2011 water-inspired design competition.
GAVA recognises artisans around the world whose visions and creativity exemplify the best in AquaTekture, the discipline of designing, engineering and erecting of water environments and ancillary components in a harmonious nature with consideration to function, space and aesthetics.
Transcending beyond the traditional water-themed design awards by hosting an integrated world-wide competition, GAVA is open to design professionals of all genres dedicated to influencing and creating thought-provoking solutions. The award salutes the innovative spirit of artisans from every segment of the globe, celebrating diverse concepts from varying cultures, environments and philosophical aspects.
The third annual GAVA is sponsored by presenting sponsor Structure Studios, gold sponsors Zodiac Pool Systems Inc, and brand and silver sponsors Paramount Pool Products and Pebble Technology Inc.
GAVA is the only independent design awards competition open to all design disciplines, including architects, contractors, interior and exterior designers, home builders, pool builders, landscape architects, landscape designers and artists worldwide.
Entries are judged on their aesthetic beauty as well as how each exemplifies the objectives of the projects — designs exhibiting original and diverse concepts that demonstrate respect for environmental, cultural, philosophical, and/or historical components.
All winners will be showcased in an international design book by Schiffer Publishing Ltd, a leading publishing house with more than 3100 titles.
