The first Aluminium Insights series will focus on the topic of aluminium and sustainability, including the environmental benefits of aluminium as an advanced building material. It will delve into the importance of high-quality finishes to the product and building lifecycles, as well as focus on international case studies and the lessons learnt.

The series international guest speaker is award-winning architect and leading international expert in the field of aluminium sustainability, Professor Michael Stacey. Stacey has been researching the topic of aluminium sustainability for nearly 30 years and was a lead researcher in the 2012 International Aluminium Institute’s ‘Towards Sustainable Cities’ research programme. Providing exclusive insights into his international research, Stacey will be sharing quantifying evidence on how aluminium offers a sustainable solution in the built environment.

The 2023 Aluminium Insights CPD Breakfast Series will include a complimentary networking breakfast and a CPD lecture in four cities across Australia, including:

Brisbane | 29 August 2023

Sydney | 6 September 2023

Melbourne | 13 September 2023

Perth | 15 September 2023

Attendance will earn architects and specifiers 1 formal CPD point.
