Architecture meets artistry in Bottega Veneta’s Harrods pop-up

Luxury fashion house Bottega Veneta has opened a striking new pop-up at London’s Harrods, where modernist architectural influences meet the brand’s hallmark craftsmanship.

Designed by Bottega Veneta’s in-house team, the installation celebrates 50 years of the label’s iconic Intrecciato weave through a tactile and architectural interior.

Situated on the ground floor of the Knightsbridge department store, the pop-up is anchored by an interlocking shelving system crafted from concrete and Italian walnut. The combination of natural and industrial materials pays homage to both the Veneto region’s architectural heritage and the brand’s design DNA. According to Bottega Veneta, the composition of concrete and wood reflects “an interconnected scheme that nods to modernist architecture in the house’s native Veneto region.”

A sculptural centrepiece known as La Tavola sits at the heart of the space. Inspired by the communal workbenches used by the brand’s leather artisans, the smooth wooden table serves as both display and storytelling device. It showcases jewellery, small leather goods and fragrance, while drawers beneath hold the materials and tools used to create the Intrecciato weave, offering visitors a glimpse into the making process.

Oversized leather-clad chairs featuring the brand’s signature woven pattern and a curated selection of ready-to-wear pieces, shoes, bags and accessories complete the setting. To mark the occasion, Bottega Veneta has introduced a capsule collection in emerald green, a subtle nod to Harrods’ distinctive colour palette.

Photographs from the brand’s Craft is Our Language campaign by British photographer Jack Davison adorn the walls, reinforcing the dialogue between design, craft and place. The result is a space that feels both refined and deeply grounded, uniting architecture, artistry and heritage in one immersive retail experience.
