Bette Introduces Salvia to its Colour World

German bathroom specialist Bette has unveiled a new colour, Salvia, a glossy sage green that brings a fresh dimension to contemporary bathroom design.

The shade joins the brand’s existing palette of 30 Key Colours, reinforcing Bette’s commitment to offering design-led choices that allow bathrooms to be both functional and expressive.

The new tone will make its debut on the BetteSuno bath, a freestanding minimalist tub created in collaboration with British studio Barber Osgerby. With its pure lines and sculptural form, the BetteSuno provides an ideal canvas for Salvia, demonstrating how colour can transform a fixture into a statement piece. The soft sage finish enhances the bath’s simplicity, offering a calming presence that suits both pared-back interiors and more layered, eclectic spaces.

Bette’s use of glazed titanium-steel across its shower trays, basins and baths is central to the brand’s reputation. The material is easy to clean, highly durable and backed by a 30-year guarantee, ensuring that its design-driven products remain as practical as they are beautiful. By pairing this resilience with an expanding colour offering, Bette encourages designers and homeowners to explore bathrooms that reflect individuality.

Alongside the 31 Key Colours, Bette also offers 40 Bespoke Colours on selected products, including shimmering finishes that heighten the sense of luxury. The colour world has been deliberately structured into these two categories, giving users flexibility to create tone-on-tone spaces or experiment with bold contrasts. Whether used to generate harmony or a striking focal point, colour plays a central role in shaping atmosphere and mood.

With Salvia, Bette has tapped into the growing appetite for natural, muted tones that evoke a sense of calm. The glossy sage green captures both freshness and warmth, making it a versatile addition to contemporary bathrooms. As the brand continues to expand its palette, it reaffirms its belief that life is full of colour and the bathroom should be too.
