To end 2015 with a bang, Designer Rugs held an exclusive invitation-only event on 8 December to announce the winner of their much-revered Evolve Awards. More than 100 industry guests and media attended the showcase in Designer Rugs’ newly renovated showroom in Sydney’s inner west to view each of the eight finalists’ rugs and see the winner and runners-up announced.
Giuliana Coroallo was the winner, chosen by an esteemed jury comprising Gavin Harris from Futurespace, Lorenzo Logi from Indesign magazine, Louise Olsen from Dinosaur Designs, Matthew Sheargold from Sheargold, and Yosi Tal, managing director of Designer Rugs.
To celebrate her success, Giuliana will receive return flights and accommodation to Milan to coincide with the Salon de Mobile later this year.
