Galvin Engineering, RMC Collaborate on CliniMix healthcare TMVs

Galvin Engineering and RMC Reliance Valves (RMC), two Australian plumbing manufacturers, have partnered to create the Lead Safe CliniMix Healthcare Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs).

The range of TMVs are designed to protect the most vulnerable from scalding or cold water shock by providing tempered water to the desired outlets that comply with the relevant Australian Standards.

Featuring less than 0.25% lead content, the TMVs are suitable for installation in low-pressure systems and will operate with a working pressure as low as 20kPA. In the event of either hot or cold water supply failure the valve will shut down and quickly restore flow when normal conditions resume.

The CliniMix range can also be installed in any configuration with the water outlet in the horizontal or vertical position, and inlet connections can be rotated to suit inlet pipework. Units come complete with right angles isolating ball valve, non-return valve and strainer assemblies.

The TMVs meet WaterMark specifications up to AS 4032.1 Lic. WMKA21989.

This collaboration between the two manufacturers marks a significant milestone, as the two stalwarts of Australian manufacturing join forces to create solutions that exemplify reliability, trust and Australian ingenuity.

Galvin Engineering chief executive Peter Adam has expressed his enthusiasm in the strategic partnership: “Galvin Engineering has a long-standing commitment to delivering high-quality products and building trust with its customers. This partnership is seen as a logical and strategic step that will strengthen Galvin Engineering’s presence in the Australian TMV market.”

RWC president and, Asia Pacific, Nicole Sumich echoes this sentiment: “We are thrilled to partner with Galvin Engineering to deliver plumbing solutions for health, education, aged care and correctional facilities.

“Our Australian-made RMC valves have been leading this space for nearly three decades and this partnership ensures the continued availability of these trusted, reliable products that meet the highest standards, reducing supply chain risks while supporting local manufacturing for a safer, more sustainable future.”
