Of Green and Shaded Lanes

Sister duo Maddie and Becc Sharrock, of Studio Twocan, present a new series of work in their latest exhibition Of Green and Shaded Lanes. A series of framed prints will be on show, in addition to a range of sculptural cement works such as the vessels and vases for which they are known.

Inspired by the vast Australian Outback, it was their intention to emulate the Earth’s natural beauties and reference aerial views and cross-sections of the Outback.

Like many artists and creators, Maddie and Becc are extremely conscious of the short life-cycle associated with mass production, and as such are dedicated to producing good design using quality materials.

Located above My Bookshop by Corrie Perkin in Toorak Village, Melbourne, the sisters will be celebrating the gallery’s opening on Saturday 17 October so pop in and join them for a celebratory drink.
