Hettich Celebrates Double Milestone

2013 is shaping up to be a big year for Hettich with the celebration of its 125th anniversary globally and 25th year of operation in Australia.

Starting from a small supplier of cuckoo clock components in the late 1800’s, Hettich lead innovation at the time to invent the piano hinge in the first half of the 1900’s and has since progressed into one of the leading suppliers of cabinet and furniture hardware in the world.

Throughout its 125 years, Hettich has beenmanaged by just four generations of the Hettich family, each bringing their own unique flavour to the company’s product offering and management style.

Today Hettich has more than 6,000 staff members worldwide, subsidiaries in 38 countries and is available in more than 100 countries. Constant innovation to support ever-changing trends has driven Hettich to provide experiences in the home rather than just functional products – at Hettich, it’s all about making living spaces work beautifully.

This year in Australia Hettich will introduce a unique drawer system – ArciTech – mid-year, as well as expand its already impressive network of more than 200 Endorsed Showrooms.

“Members of our Endorsed Showroom programme exclusively stock Hettich products and showcase stunning showrooms and displays where customers can really experience Hettich products. Most of them are family-run businesses with decades of experience in the industry – with a Hettich Endorsed Showroom you can rest easy knowing your renovation project will run very smoothly,” says National Marketing Manager for Australia and New Zealand, Dave Angus.
