KBDi Chapter Events

KBDi Chapter Events have been rolling out across the country in the last few weeks, with Smeg and Lincoln Sentry kindly opening their doors for KBDi Members, sponsors, suppliers and guests.

We kicked off this round on August 22 at Smeg’s Banksmeadow Showroom in Sydney, with guests enjoying the fine hospitability always offered by Smeg, along with the company of like-minded industry representatives.  Darren Genner (Minosa Design) gave us an “up close and personal” view of his incredible award-winning designs, and certainly inspired the designers in attendance.

Brisbane was the next cab off the rank on August 28.  Pieta and Letesha from Smeg’s Virginia showroom ensured all guests felt welcome, as Lee Hardcastle of Enigma Interiors shared his design wisdom with a suitably impressed audience.

On September 3, Royston Wilson gave Melbournites an insight into his design journey thus far, in Smeg’s beautifully appointed Collingwood showroom.  Smeg shared the inspiration behind their new product line-up, and Rebecca Varley of Diversified Exhibitions gave us an indication of what to expect at the upcoming Grand Designs Melbourne Expo.

Next stop was Tasmania, with Smeg’s distributor Alderson Agencies hosting two great nights where the top KBDi Design 2013 Awards were profiled.

Members in Adelaide and Perth are encouraged to attend the events occurring this week.  Invites have been issued, but if you require more information, please don’t hesitate to contact Lorena on 1300 253 223.

If you’ve not been to a KBDi Chapter Event recently, why not pop along to the next one and see how momentum is growing.  Our primary goal in holding these events is to link you, our valued members, with peers and industry suppliers for mutual benefit.  These networking opportunities allow you to meet potential employers or employees, discuss new opportunities and learn from peers and event presenters, and put forward your own industry opinions and/or concerns.
