Australia’s love of the outdoors and passion for indoor/outdoor living has inspired Smeg to develop two stunning built-in BBQs specifically for the Australian market.
Smeg’s expertise in gas burner technology and design credentials, under the watchful eye of world-leading architect, Guido Canali, means that these BBQs are superb in both performance and architectural style.
PERFORMANCE AND POWER
Availalble in two versions—the flat lid for grilling or hooded lid for grilling and roasting, these solid stainless steel BBQs will never rust with Marine Grade 316 all exposed surfaces and 304 commercial grade on the cooking surfaces. They each pack a mighty 67.5 Mj/hr of power over five burners, and flare-ups are minimised due to a unique system of interlocking grills which disperse the flame for even cooking.
CLEAN LIVING
The most exciting new innovation from Smeg in the development of this BBQ is the oil collection system. An ever-so subtle rake on the lower grills collects the oil and passes it while hot into a stainless steel receptacle with handle, which can be lifted out for disposal. It’s truly ingenious for its simplicity—so easy and clean to remove—and considering it’s from Smeg, has the most beautiful design lines, even though it’s hidden beneath! It’s another coup from Smeg in technology with style.
