Prominent inner-city Brisbane site up for grabs

Coronis have launched an expression of interest campaign for a 2454 sq m parcel of land in Brisbane’s prominent inner-city suburb of Coorparoo.

Just minutes away from the Gabba (the proposed Olympic Stadium for the 2032 Games) and 4km from Brisbane’s CBD, the site comprises 211 Old Cleveland Road, a retail shop-office (193 sq m internally); 7-9 Shakespeare Street, a renovated home used as an office; and 161 Pembroke Street, a car yard.

Selling agent Craig Gillies said the large size of the site plus the three-street frontage would appeal to a multitude of potential developers and investors as a prime development site either for residential or retail.

“Currently zoned for mixed use (corridor), the existing buildings when fully leased produce an annual income of approximately $188,000 ex-GST,” Gillies said.

“Coorparoo is a highly sought-after suburb for professionals and families looking for a short commute to work and the CBD.

“Old Cleveland Road has a great mix of commercial and residential properties making the proposed site an attractive investment opportunity with cafes, shops and train stations at your fingertips.”

Expressions of interest close on March 10, 2021.
