Ridges and Refinement: Vipp Unveils Modular V3 Kitchen

Danish design house Vipp has unveiled its latest modular kitchen system, the V3 — a sculptural evolution of the brand’s industrial design language, brought to life through ridged anodised aluminium and precise metalwork.

Known for its minimalist steel fixtures and architectural guesthouses, Vipp has shifted focus with the V3, introducing extruded aluminium as the primary material.

The result is a kitchen system that feels lighter yet equally robust. Available as a freestanding island, wall unit, or tall module, each piece is elevated on short cylindrical legs, giving the impression of floating forms.

The defining feature of the V3 is its distinctive vertical ridging. Front and side panels are wrapped in anodised aluminium, their textured surfaces catching the light to highlight the geometric rhythm of the design. This is paired with a four-millimetre-thick stainless steel countertop — a visual and tactile contrast that speaks to the brand’s heritage in durable, high-performance materials.

“Inspired by the material’s use in Vipp’s Chimney House and Shelter guesthouses, the elegant aluminium siding and rounded edges offer a unique aesthetic,” says the brand. While visually lighter than its predecessor, the black powder-coated V1, the V3 maintains Vipp’s signature precision and architectural clarity.

This modular approach allows for maximum flexibility in layout while preserving a consistent visual language. Designed to be both functional and expressive, the V3 bridges the gap between domestic utility and sculptural design — a hallmark of Vipp’s evolving kitchen philosophy.

By refining its signature materiality and applying lessons from its architectural projects, Vipp has created a kitchen that is as much about tactility and form as it is about performance — a striking centrepiece for contemporary living.
