Scholastic Program Recognises Water-Inspired Applications
(Las Vegas) 3.18.2011. Three V Enterprises (3VE) announces the establishment of the Student AquaTekture Design Competition and Scholarship as part of the organisation’s comprehensive philanthropic endeavours. Entries for the 2011 Student AquaTekture Design Competition and Scholarship are now being accepted through July 2011 at www.gavaawards.com.
The founders of 3VE, a Las Vegas-based corporation, host the annual GAVA Awards (Global AquaTekture Visionary Awards). GAVA recognises individuals and companies who have made distinctive strides to further push the creative envelope using water as a main feature in architecture.
The scholarship is open to students enrolled in a college, university, or vocational school, either internationally or in the United States. It will be awarded to the student who demonstrates a promising future in integrative design or architecture and has a genuine interest in architecture, interior design, engineering, landscape design, LEED, product or CAD design relating to AquaTekture. The chosen winner, decided by 3VE Founders and GAVA Advisory Board Members, will receive a monetary scholarship, a one-year complimentary subscription to GAVA Presenting Sponsor Structure Studios: Pool Studio 3-D program, and other prizes including a ticket to the GAVA awards, where the design will be showcased.
