Seaside sanctuary in Cronulla decked out in luxury appliances

Acqua is a bespoke architecturally-designed collection of seventeen one, two and three-bedroom apartments, beautifully located only 100 metres from Cronulla Beach.

The residential precinct evokes a private seaside sanctuary, just a short stroll from Cronulla’s vibrant shops, restaurants and cafés.

The Acqua development was a collaboration between Vic Lake Architects and Bronxx, a multi-award-winning placemaker, developer and builder specialising in luxury multi-residential and commercial projects that provide a beautiful and enduring quality of life

Bronxx’s vision for Acqua was of a haven that reflects a contemporary-coastal aesthetic while harnessing the natural beauty of the surrounding environment. “The development’s exquisite location deserved a sensational design response,” says Ciaran Goodman, CEO of Bronxx. “We wanted to add value to Cronulla by ensuring the streetscape and architecture worked in visual harmony while providing residents with a stunning quality of life. By offering alfresco living at its finest, Acqua residents enjoy spaces steeped in natural light with fresh sea breezes and glorious interaction with nature.”

Acqua’s penthouse-inspired interiors have been meticulously crafted with form and function in mind. The open kitchen and entertaining space flows through to the terrace, with huge glass sliding doors providing airy views from the kitchen.

“The design of the open-plan kitchen maximises the opulent living space,” continues Goodman. “By selecting a natural stone island, roaring fireplace, warm coastal colours and natural finishes, residents can celebrate year-round beachside living. We chose Gaggenau kitchen products to reflect this opulent feel and uphold our apartments’ enduring quality.

Acqua’s residences feature a carefully curated selection of Gaggenau products from its 200 series, including the Gaggenau 200 microwave, dishwasher, rangehood, oven and 90cm gas cooktop. “The choice of products enabled us to balance elegance with usability,” continues Goodman. “The kitchen and butler’s pantry needed to work together aesthetically using appliances that blended with our textures and colour palette. In addition, our team has superb knowledge of how the products work, thanks to Gaggenau’s phenomenal end-to-end service and product training. Our team can confidently pass this user knowledge on, which in turn, help us to uphold our reputation for quality and service.”

“As fellow perfectionists, no one designs and crafts kitchen appliances as beautifully as Gaggenau. The products are as timeless and enduring as they are functional and contemporary, and they create a talking point with our residents who love them. We’ve been using Gaggenau products for 12 years now, and we trust their quality as much as the residents who get to enjoy them every day,” Explains Goodman.
