Zip HydroTap

The owners of this stunning kitchen love to cook and entertain so their brief to designer Susan Wasley of The Kitchen Designer was for a bold splash of colour to suit their modern home. Used throughout the house, Dulux Red Terra is used for the vibrant splashback and makes the kitchen the visual centrepiece of this home.

Careful consideration was given to the appliance inclusions with a Zip HydroTap on the top of the list. “I specify Zip’s HydroTap because I know it meets the demands of my clients for instant access to filtered boiling and chilled water,” says Susan. “Located on the island bench, the Zip HydroTap is easily accessible when needed for cooking and entertaining”.

The warm hue of the granite benchtops and two-tone cabinets are the perfect neutral backdrop for the brighter elements and add an element of visual balance to the kitchen. An interesting corner angle on the island bench mimics angles found elsewhere in the home’s architecture.

Differing heights and materials distinguish between work zones while a sliding door conceals the butler’s pantry which houses the dishwasher and another sink to keep the main kitchen area free of clutter and preparation mess.

Zip HydroTap Boiling Chilled is now available with an additional Sparkling water option to deliver your favourite chilled sparkling water at the touch of a button. For more information, visit zipindustries.com or thekitchendesigner.com.au
