Since 2006, Nanovations Pty Ltd has engineered advanced solutions for specific building and material problems. Their 3001 Hydrophobic Agent is a admixture designed to eliminate moisture-related defects like rising damp and efflorescence in cement-based materials.
Unlike topical water repellent sealers that sit on or near the surface, the 3001 agent is mixed directly into wet concrete, screed, mortar or render. This integrates the water repellent effect into the material’s matrix, creating permanent water repellent material. Because the protection is embedded within the complete mass, it will never peel, wear off, or degrade from weather exposure or physical abrasion.
