Australian Living and Home Design magazine have joined forces for the 2013 Green Interior Awards and the search is on for the best green interior project in Australia.
The Home Design Magazine Australian Living Green Interior Awards focus on the use of “green” interior products, including anything from paint and furniture to art and lighting. Criteria include consideration of the environment, energy efficiency, wastage, ethical production, as well as the health of the consumers and manufacturers.
The program welcomes entries from interior designers, architects, interior stylists, interior consultants, building designers, sustainability consultants and homeowners. With categories including residential, office, hospitality, retail and educational, anyone who has introduced green interior products to their office, shop, department store, restaurant, school, university or kindergarten is also encouraged to enter.
Judging the awards are Shaynna Blaze (co-presenter of the Lifestyle Channel’s Selling Houses Australia and judge on Channel 9’s The Block), Kate St James, FDIA (interior designer and Editor-in-Chief of Home Design magazine) and Daphna Tal (Sustainable Interiors Consultant at Australian Living).
