Interior designer Anna-Carin McNamara has created a new collection for Designer Rugs: The Forsa Collection. The self professed “modern nomad” says that each of her designs tells a story from her childhood spent on a farm in the south of Sweden. Hand-knotted in wool and silk, the collection represents diverse cultures coming together. Anna-Carin’s clean and minimalist Scandinavian style is complemented by the use of traditional Nepalese hand-knotting techniques. A soft colour palette teamed with simple, yet mesmerising patterns is perfect for Australian interiors. designerrugs.com.au
