Jade Signature to become the new mark of Miami

Miami is known for its sunshine and beaches, and the Jade Signature tower by architects Herzog & de Meuron aims to honour these characteristics of its location.

It is a building that reflects the landscape and city around it with the interior and exterior seamlessly linking. As the architects say, “the street connects to the lobby, the lobby overlooks the pool and the pool is on the beach.”

It is a pillar of innovative design and architectural identity. Its volume is oriented to maximize sun exposure on the beach in front. The tower has a shared program, including a lobby, restaurant and spa and also has a garden and pool directly on the beach.

Slabs define individual floors and windows are recessed to reduce their visual impact. Walls spanning from east to west provide living spaces with simultaneous views of both horizons. The overhanging slabs reach out to provide adequate shade from the tropical sunshine and also allow for terrace spaces for each apartment.
