Pendula 8 TL is a tall, slim loudspeaker designed for the wall—either built into the wall or hung on the surface like an elegant panel. The form is calm and architectural, with warm timber detailing and the option to go fully minimalist with cloth grilles that blend into the palette. Leave the grilles off to showcase the fine timberwork and SpectraFlora’s signature floral laser etching—a subtle piece of craftsmanship that reads beautifully in premium interiors.
The Experience
Pendula 8 TL aims for the same natural, balanced tone as Aphelia 8—crystal clear voices, realistic instruments—yet adds the low-end reach you expect from Celata 88. In the room that means effortless background listening that feels composed at low volume, and confident scale when entertaining, all without a bulky floorstanding footprint. Sound stays even as people move around, so you don’t have to design the space around a single “best seat.”

Technology, simply explained
- Transmission-line bass (the “TL”): Inside the cabinet is a long, tuned pathway that guides the rear energy from the woofer. This extends bass smoothly and reduces boom—more depth, more control, especially against walls.
- 3D Dynamic Waveguide: A newly designed cast-aluminium waveguide surrounds the tweeter and is engineered to spread sound evenly left-to-right and top-to-bottom—what acousticians call constant directivity. In practice, it keeps tone consistent across the room, even though the front surface sits flush to the wall.
- Proven 8-inch driver: Pendula 8 TL uses the same 8-inch graphene-coated magnesium woofer as Aphelia 8—light, rigid and fast—so notes start and stop cleanly and voices remain natural.
- Quiet, rigid structure: A solid, braced enclosure and dense internal damping keep the cabinet from adding its own “voice,” which preserves clarity and listening ease. Cabinets are built from 18 mm F17 structural, marine Hoop Pine plywood—many times stiffer than MDF or plastic and designed to last a lifetime.
The Difference from typical in-walls
Most in-wall speakers are voiced for home theatre or PA—loud, bright, and directional. Pendula 8 TL brings true HiFi pedigree to the wall format: natural timbre, even coverage, and deep yet controlled bass. It’s designed to astound during critical, two-channel listening while still vanishing visually into the architecture.
Installation & Dimensions
- Designed to fit between standard 450 mm stud centres for straightforward in-wall placement.
- On-wall option when recessing isn’t available.
- Overall size: 1190 mm (H) × 390 mm (W) × 176 mm (D).
- Placement is forgiving; on-wall installs benefit from tidy cable routing down the wall or through adjacent joinery.
Finishes & Grilles
- Like all SpectraFlora speakers, finishes are customisable.
- Acoustically transparent cloth grilles available to colour-match décor for a minimalist look.
- Grilles can be left off to reveal timber detailing and floral laser etching.
- Timber tones coordinate naturally with oak, walnut, rift-sawn ash, natural stone and textured fabrics.
