Rockcote MicroStone brings this idea to life with a refined microcement finish that creates the sophisticated look of natural stone across a wide range of interior and exterior surfaces.

Designed to create bespoke, seamless finishes, MicroStone is a two-part, water-based product that can be applied across properly prepared substrates including brick, block, cement render, Rockcote render, concrete, cement sheeting and plasterboard. Its versatility provides greater freedom to carry a consistent material aesthetic throughout a project rather than limiting feature finishes to individual surfaces.

One of MicroStone’s defining qualities is the variety of finishes that can be achieved through different application and sanding techniques. It can be finished smooth for a refined, contemporary look, textured to enhance its natural stone character, or sanded to expose the aggregate within the surface. This versatility allows the finish to be tailored to suit the individual style and design of each space.

The handcrafted nature of MicroStone also introduces subtle variations in colour, texture and appearance. Rather than creating a completely uniform manufactured surface, these variations contribute to the individuality and depth of the finished result.

Available in a light base that can be tinted using oxides or liquid tints, MicroStone provides further flexibility when developing a project’s material and colour palette. Its natural stone aesthetic can complement materials such as timber, concrete and other tactile finishes, making it particularly suited to contemporary residential and architectural spaces.

Beyond its visual appeal, MicroStone offers excellent adhesion and abrasion resistance and is durable and easy to maintain when appropriately sealed. Rockcote MicroFinish Sealers can also be incorporated into the specified system for added durability and reduced maintenance on wall applications. The product is suitable for both interior and exterior use.
