The colour experts team at Dulux have constructed six colour palettes they believe will reflect the major global colour trends in design over the next year. The palettes are named Merge, Seek, Empower, Rise, Share and Blur. They are influenced both from other design eras and from aspects of contemporary life such as the connection between people and the digital world. The experts developed the colour forecast palettes by studying current colour trends from around the world. Bree Leech, a colour and communications consultant at Dulux, believes that colour preforms a vital role as it can strongly influence how we experience a space.
