Thanks to the unique joining capabilities of solid surface, Staron achieves a seamless, pre-cast appearance, making it almost impossible to believe that projects begin as flat, 12mm-thick solid surface sheets. Its remarkable adaptability extends to creating organic curves and shapes, offering an exciting dimension of geometric and curve appeal. Additionally, Staron serves as a perfect canvas for carved designs, all while retaining its inherent properties.

With such immense design potential, Austaron established the Staron Design Awards to celebrate the innovation and creativity that Solid Surfaces inspire. Held annually, the Staron Design Awards recognise excellence across three categories: Commercial, Residential and Concept. The Concept category encourages forward-thinking ideas for solid surface applications, exploring possibilities for innovative and not-yet-realised projects.

In addition to its design potential, Staron offers many features and benefits that make it a preferred choice for an array of more traditionally designed projects.

To celebrate even more inspiring projects, this year Austaron have launched the Staron Project Pics Awards. Recognising that not every project has the opportunity to showcase Staron’s full creative potential, this platform allows designers to share all Staron projects, big or small.

To participate, simply share your project images via Instagram, mention Staron and the selected colour in your content, tag Austaron Surfaces, and use the hashtag #StaronProjectPics. Each quarter, a winning entry will be selected.

Open to projects in Australia and New Zealand, the Staron Design Awards provide a platform to celebrate the ingenuity and expertise of designers, showcasing the transformative power of solid surface solutions within the built environment.
