ABCB Releases Four New Micromodules

The Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB) has released four continuing professional development (CPD) micromodules, including one relating to documenting Plumbing Code of Australia compliance.

The National Construction Code (NCC) CPD micromodules are designed to empower practitioners with the latest insights into building compliance and regulation. NCC CPD micromodules have been developed for CPD providers to deliver as part of their own CPD activities.

The micromodule format aims to offer bite-sized learning with a focus on specific areas of the NCC.

They are provided as a plain PowerPoint slide deck so educators can tailor CPD delivery to the needs of theaudience.

The four new CPD micromodules are:

  • Interpreting and complying with the NCC
  • Energy efficiency – compliance options for apartments
  • Documenting PCA (Plumbing Code of Australia – NCC Volume Three) compliance
  • Introduction to Performance Solutions

To access these modules, you must be a CPD provider. To request CPD provider access, visit the ABCB webpage here.
