For more than half a century, Abey Australia has been synonymous with quality and innovation, bringing the latest in kitchen and bathroom products to Australia. With selection galleries across the country, Abey’s Queensland space has been refurbished and is now officially reopen as a location for exploration, inspiration and discovery.
Abey have been providing Queenslanders with the opportunity to have the world’s leading kitchen and bathroom brands available on their doorstep since 2006. Now after several years, the selection gallery which is located in Brisbane, has been refurbished, bringing to life a distinctive space for visitors to experience and be inspired within.
The space showcases local and international brands, and now also features the distinguished Eleganza and Cono collections from luxury Italian brand Gessi and the notable ‘complete look’ from Gareth Ashton, which will be on display in Queensland for the first time.
“The redesigned space allows visitors to immerse themselves in the high-end products we have brought to Australia, from Italy and around the world. It has been refurbished to keep visitors inspired; not only by the products but also by the space,” Ashley Anderson, Marketing Manager, Abey Australia said.
Brisbane a cultural hub for Queensland, is the ideal location for such exceptional collections to be on display. The Queensland capital boasts cultural credentials and a dense admiration for design and creation. Brisbane continues to be such an ideal location for us to showcase our products with the people of Queensland. We are really looking forward to sharing Gessi’s Cono and Eleganza collections from Italy and the Gareth Ashton ‘complete look’.
Gessi is recognised as one of the world’s leading designers and manufacturers of bathroom and kitchen fittings and furnishings. These areas were once regarded as accessories but over the last 20+ years, Gessi has completely changed perceptions.
The Cono Collection was brought to life with Gessi’s desire to blend nature with architecture in people’s private habitats. During a journey among the lush scenery and the dwellings in South Eastern Asia, iconic designer and sculptor Prospero Rasulo captured the sun filtering light cones across vegetation, the architectural form describing his ideal fusion of architecture and nature.
Gessi continues to embrace high-end design with Eleganza, a refined collection for the bathroom. The collection was inspired by the pursuit of tangible design shaping the intangible concept of elegance, turning to the essential need for style that is expressed across our daily lives.
Gareth Ashton captures the essence of global design, with a diverse range of well-priced, handpicked collections. Gareth Ashton has evolved into a brand that offers tap ware solutions for the kitchen and a complete look for the bathroom. A complete look, which comprises toilets, basins, baths, showers, tapware and accessories and is a highly regarded and an in-demand concept amongst consumers. With a contemporary design of minimalism, sleek lines and a combination of organic and angular shapes, the collections within Gareth Ashton make a perfect complement to any modern space. The complete look will be on view at the Abey Queensland selection gallery, for the first time in the Sunshine State.
The newly refurbished selection gallery is located at 94 Petrie Terrace, Brisbane.
