“Cotton Fields at Magic Hour”

We found our inspiration for Cotton Clouds in the sprawling cotton fields of Greenville, Texas where at the perfect point of sunset, pillows of cloud-like cotton take on the golden glow of the setting sun. Recreating the effect of soft, white buds diffused by rusty halos, we captured the same captivating stillness in this design as you would find at the perfect ‘golden hour’ sunset.

Dramatic hues of grey and diffused brown tones are a nod to the plays of shadows and light as clouds drift across the horizon, illuminating the crisp, sunbaked stalks and plumes of fluffy cotton. Set against an off-white and grey base, the intricate patterns of stalk-like veins echo golden fields, and a moment that has to be experienced with every sense.
