At the heart of the company is director Christian Passauer, a fully licensed plumber and gas fitter whose technical knowledge and hands-on experience guide every project. All installations are completed by qualified in-house plumbers rather than subcontractors, allowing the team to maintain consistent standards from the initial consultation through to installation and after-sales support.

The company works closely with builders, architects and designers to assist with product selection, compliance, planning and installation—helping bring exceptional homes to life without compromising performance or design. While fireplaces remain central to the business, Victorian Fireplaces & BBQs has grown into a complete destination for year-round home comfort and outdoor living. Its carefully selected range includes gas, wood, electric, bioethanol and pellet fireplaces, along with reverse-cycle air conditioning, heat-pump hot water systems and premium outdoor cooking products.

October 2026 will mark an exciting new chapter, with major renovations taking place across the business. The Hoppers Crossing showroom will be transformed into a bigger and better destination where customers can explore an expanded range of heating, cooling and outdoor-living solutions.

North East Climate Solutions in Yarrawonga—the group’s newest showroom—will also undergo an extensive renovation, with more than 20 new fireplaces being added to its displays. This investment will give customers throughout North East Victoria an even greater opportunity to experience leading products in person and receive practical advice from a knowledgeable local team.

Both Hoppers Crossing and Yarrawonga will also stock Gozney pizza ovens and Heatstrip outdoor heaters, helping families enjoy relaxed meals, entertaining and time together throughout every season.
