The Classic Kitchen

Classic Design

Smeg’s Classic kitchen is the most enduring range in Smeg’s portfolio and has been proven over time since its first iteration in 1985. The range, with signature Classic control knob, was designed in collaboration with world-leading architect, Guido Canali, who also designed Smeg’s headquarters in northern Italy plus the headquarters of Italian fashion brand, Prada.

Synthesis of Past and Present

Canali’s work has included the restoration of ancient Italian architecture and the creation of significant works of modernist architecture. Smeg’s Classic range embodies Canali’s ideals of strict form, simple and essential design. The elegance of a Smeg Classic appliance means it can enhance the most traditional or contemporary kitchen. It’s this ability to bridge past and present which renders the Classic range timeless.

Signature Style
