Why enter an Awards program? 2012 KBDi Winner Eileen Middleton shares the benefits.

Eileen Middleton has an impressive portfolio and recently won the KBDi Australian Kitchen Designer of the Year in 2012. “Winning this KBDi award has added to my credentials as a designer and assists in positioning me in the marketplace. My clients and potential clients respond positively to the industry acknowledgements and they have a greater respect for me as a designer, and a greater confidence in my ability to undertake their project. Additionally, I find I’m given greater respect from my designer peers and others I deal with in the construction industry.
As Australian Kitchen Designer of the Year, winning a place on the KBDi Designers International Tour gave me the opportunity to be exposed to new design ideas and different products I’ve never seen before. I now have a global perspective and am inspired by different products and technology, and have brought those concepts and ideas back into my own work as a designer in Australia. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to network with people that I wouldn’t normally have an opportunity to meet."
