Want to create a unique space that offers visual appeal and functionality, too? Then a visit to Beaumont Tiles is in order
As any designer would know, the bathroom is no longer just a functional space where people prepare for the day or night ahead; it is now so much more. With this in mind, the owners of this stunning bathing area wanted the space to be a standout feature in their new home and, thanks to the talented team at Bella Build and Design, along with a selection of striking tiles from Beaumont Tiles, this has been achieved with ease.
When briefing designer Marissa Bellardino, the owners requested for the room to be bright, cheerful and inviting. It also needed to reflect the contemporary style of the home. Complicating the brief for the designers was that it also had to be different and bold in colour, texture and form.
Complementing the large, luxurious shower that is the focus of the room, Matrix glass and stone mosaics from Beaumont Tiles have been chosen to reinforce the impact of the freestanding tower and ceiling panel that combine as a unique feature. The shower is a double shower room within the room. It incorporates twin overhead roses plus a series of massaging body showers.
Throughout the room, colour has been used in feature blocks. However, your eye is drawn to the far wall of polished Superwhite tiles. This wall reflects light and opens up the space, enabling the use of such a bold and earthy contrast.
Honed-finish Harmony series tiles in Mocha have been used on the floor and in a polished finish on the walls, to bring both together.
While every luxury has been included in this bathroom, the result is one of outstanding quality and style rather than unnecessary opulence and waste.
