Location: Moreton Bay College, Manly West, Australia

Installer: Jordin Sports Constructions, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia

Surface:Cooltop in Nordic Blue, Ruby Red and Steel Grey (for the walkways)

Area: 5035m2

Date Completed: October 2023

The project:

Moreton Bay College typically hosts a variety of school activities, coaching clinics, local events, and tournaments. However, the school’s seven asphalt courts were suffering from the failing of the existing acrylic surfaces, as well as structural issues, which included cracking and water damage.

The solution:

The facility managers at the Moreton Bay College chose CoolTop for their new courts, as they required an innovative and premium surface that could provide long-term durability and help reduce the temperature of the courts. The new project includes seven new concrete courts, with drainage, retaining walls, fencing, tennis nets and netball posts. Nordic Blue was used for the centers, Ruby Red for the surrounds and Steel Grey for the walkways.
