New visualisation tool for the home
Now you can visualise the entire exterior of your home with the click of a mouse. Monier Roofing and PGH Bricks and Pavers have released an online visualisation tool.
Whether it is a new build or renovation, ColourTouch enables homeowners to create and experiment with various colour palettes and combinations for bricks, feature walls, roof tiles, gutters, pavers, facade, garages, doors, trim, render and windows. The online tool helps to take the guesswork out of which products, textures and colours will complement one another.
ColourTouch provides homeowners with the option to choose from a range of pre-selected colour schemes or to design their own for either a single- or double-storey home. The pre-selected colour palettes are based on popular and on-trend schemes and include reds, rich creams, silver greys, golden tans, rustic browns and new naturals.
“A house is designed from the inside out, so when choosing the external materials, think about the colour and ambience that you’d prefer for the interior and use this as a reference,” says Kathy Demos, Monier PGH Design Exponent.
“With PGH and Monier, you can start with either your bricks or roof tiles and know that you’ll find a match. The product you choose to start your colour scheme with doesn’t matter, but it’s best to ensure that you spend the time thinking about the overall look and feel for your home. For example, a double-storey home will have a stronger presence mainly because of its scale, whereas a single-storey home will work well with one main colour theme such as similar bricks and roofing tiles to give a modern uncluttered look.
Each of the new ranges for PGH Bricks and Pavers and Monier is available on the ColourTouch tool. Designs can be uploaded to Facebook, Pinterest or incorporated into a personalised My Scrapbook account and a link emailed to an architect, builder, family and friends.
