Intrim Launches Nova Vita®

Australia’s First Soft-Curve Flush Finish Skirting and Door Jamb System

Intrim has launched the Nova Vita® Collection – Australia’s first soft-curve flush finish skirting and door jamb system – redefining the language of modern interior detailing.

Designed for interior designers and architects seeking a softer, more refined alternative to traditional shadowline profiles, Nova Vita® introduces a new era of architectural elegance with seamless curves and tactile sophistication.

A New Design Language for Modern Interiors
The Nova Vita® Collection introduces a unique flush finish aesthetic ideal for modern coastal, soft contemporary, and Scandi-inspired interiors. Drawing on the Latin Nova Vitae meaning “new life”, the collection brings warmth back into architectural detailing – without compromising the clean lines designers expect in a flush finish system. “Designers told us they wanted something new – a profile that retained the sophistication of a flush finish but softened the hard geometry of shadowline,” says Head of Sales & Marketing, Harvey Quinsey. “Nova Vita® is our response: elegant, tactile, and completely unique in its form.” Already specified in several high-end projects, Nova Vita® is being embraced by designers seeking to soften the edges of contemporary interiors without compromising on precision or performance.

Three Distinct Profile Options
Nova Vita® is available in three exclusive profile designs, each offering a different level of curved elegance to suit a range of interior styles. These refined profiles give designers greater control over proportion, visibility, and spatial character – all while maintaining the integrity of a true flush finish. Each Nova Vita® skirting profile coordinates with an accompanying door jamb, ensuring a consistent and seamless flow throughout a project. The collection is available in both 1-piece and 2-piece skirting systems to suit carpet, polished concrete, timber or tiled floors, offering maximum flexibility across residential and commercial applications.

An Alternative to Shadowline – Not a Replacement
“The Intrim Shadowline® SK800 continues to be one of our most widely utilised systems, and it remains an essential part of our range,” says Quinsey. “Nova Vita® wasn’t created to replace Shadowline – it was created to offer designers another design language. Some projects call for the strong geometry of a square shadowline; others need a softer, more refined profile. Nova Vita® gives designers the freedom to choose the aesthetic that best suits their vision.”

Supporting Designers with Technical Guidance
Intrim has released a suite of resources to support designers and builders looking to elevate their interiors with the new system, including a dimension selector guide, 3D renders, technical drawings, and installation guidance.
