Water is a universal solvent, is essential for all life. A single human being consumes on average from 2 to 2.6 litres of water daily to survive.  Around 60 percent of the human body is made up of water, and 75 percent of every human brain is water. In New South Wales alone, there are 21,000 kilometres of pipes that water needs to travel through from reservoir to home taps.
