Introducing Alki

Adding to their extensive collection, Cosh Living introduces the French influence of Alki.

Cosh Living would like to introduce ALKI, a cooperative situated in the heart of the Basque Country, France. Known for its excellence in the fabrication of classical wooden chairs and tables, ALKI is a perfect complement to the Cosh Living collection.

Located in a well-preserved region, ALKI has always been concerned about the environment, regularly modernising its installations and privileging the use of natural and ecological materials.

Since 2007, in close collaboration with designer Jean-Louise Iratzoki, ALKI now offers conviviality in a more contemporary style.

Thanks to its local production, Alki creates high quality and meticulously finished furniture. The company’s unique style reveals an inherited traditional know-how along with a more contemporary taste. Alki furniture is without pretense and spectacle. It fits very nicely in any environment without losing its uniqueness and identity. Its character is coherent and durable. The materials used — solid wood, natural fibers and virgin wool — bear witness to the company’s philosophy.

Check out these reviews of some of our favourite ALKI ranges.

Triku is a collection inspired by Dolmens (“TRIKU HARRIA” in the Basque language). Proportions are both generous and well balanced. A timeless collection using essential materials: wood, wool and stone.

Kuskoa collection presents table, chair, barstool in different sizes and finishes. The personality of this range lay on the combination with massif oak and “valsain”, sandy finish, in white or anthracite grey and oak. This chair is composed of a delicate upholstered or wood shell resting in oak wood trestle. The shell can have both sides covered in wood, leather or wool, or back in wood and front side in wool or leather.

The whole Kimua collection is conceived to coexist alongside other Alki collections, such as the Laia collection of tables. This collection is finished in natural oak and seating is hand-plated rush.

LASAI in Basque language means quiet, calm, peaceful. It is what it is, calm and comfort, both physical and visual. A large solid oak structure hosts a shell and cushions that are available in different fabrics and leathers. A cozy armchair which is difficult to leave. Coffee table /container completes the collection.
