Entries are now open for the KBDi Design 2011 Awards Program
This prestigious Awards Program is now open! Be in the running to win a trip to Eurocucina 2012 in Milan, Italy. Three trips will be awarded to our top designers across a range of categories. If you’re one of the lucky ones, the industry insights you gain at Eurocucina will give you a competitive edge, plus your award will speak volumes about your skills and expertise to your client market.
The program will celebrate winners at local chapter level right through to the three top awards. The only requirement to enter the awards is that you are a KBDi member; if you’re not a member, now is the time to join so that you can submit your potentially winning entry. The pinnacle award, for KBDi National Accredited Designer of the Year, is open to designers with KBDi CKD or CBD accreditation.
One of the top three winners last year was Lee Hardcastle, owner of Enigma Interiors. Lee took out the coveted KBDi National Kitchen Designer of the Year. When we asked Lee about his win, he said, “I’m thrilled to win this top award. The value of the KBDi awards is immense. The program provides excellent opportunities for profiling designers to the public. And, for the winners, it lifts client confidence, in both the designer and his or her product. This provides a better platform for building a solid client – designer relationship.”
The closing date for entries in all categories is midnight local time, Sunday 29 May 2011. All entries are electronic and are accepted via the drop box on the KBDi website.
Announcement of chapter category winners will be notified by email on Friday July 8. Chapter winners, national finalists and national winners will be announced at a fabulous Awards Gala to be held on Saturday July 23 at Design 2011, the KBDi National conference at the Holiday Inn, Gold Coast Queensland.
