KBDi May Events

Get involved, stay informed and have fun at KBDi chapter events

Industry events are critical for the continued learning and development of the Australian Kitchen and Bathroom Designer community. Whether the topics for discussion on any given night are product, business services or a reflection of the latest trends and fashion, your attendance at KBDi quarterly events provide you with the best opportunity to not only learn what is needed but also to network.

The last series of events in March, brought to members nationally by Häfele, clearly demonstrated why KBDi events are as highly regarded as they are. Debates featuring leading designers and technical maestros pitted their knowledge and skill against each other on the topic of “Form is more important than function and should be undertaken first in design”.

We received some interesting comments following these events, comments that confirmed the belief that KBDi events are definitely worth attending and provide designers with valuable tools for their careers.

“Definitely one of the most enjoyable KBDI nights I have attended, and I have been to many! I believe this fresh approach to industry nights will make people want to come back for more!” said Geoff Little, CKD of Nouvelle.

“Thanks to the debate my thoughts were reinforced. An absolute confidence booster!” said Michelle Burton, an independent designer with SMB Interior Design.

And from John Spiteri of Brindabella Bathrooms in Sydney, “Fantastic, inspiring and very entertaining. Certainly a new breath of fresh air. I know the word will spread!”

The May events will bring another fresh approach featuring KBDi’s industry partners, including Ecospecifier — who will bring information key to how we move forward with future product endorsement — Kitchens and Bathrooms Quarterly, Designer Training and HIC, who will provide the venues around Australia.

The dates for these events are as follows:

Sydney: Tuesday 3 May

Brisbane: Wednesday 4 May

Melbourne: Tuesday 10 May

Adelaide: Tuesday 17 May

Perth: Wednesday 18 May

Keep an eye on your inbox for further details and ensure your attendance by registering early. Be involved and be informed.
