The search is on for Australia’s Ultimate Green Interior Project, with the awards program being co‐presented by Australian Living and Universal Magazines. The Home Design Magazine Australian Living Awards is about shining the light on those who use green interior products in their projects.
“It is important for industry professionals and the general public to choose interior products that are healthy for people and the environment. We all deserve to work, live, eat, play, shop and learn in healthy spaces.” says Anthony Lieberman, marketing and communications manager at Australian Living.
The program welcomes entries from interior designers, architects, interior stylists, interior consultants, building designers, sustainability consultants and homeowners. With categories including residential, office, hospitality, retail and educational, anyone who has introduced green interior products to their office, shop, department store, restaurant, school, university or kindergarten is also encouraged to enter.
“We welcome the opportunity to provide a mass market platform to a worthy cause,” says Universal Magazines publisher, Janice Williams. “Sustainability involves meeting challenges creatively, so we welcome the leadership role that designers have taken and look forward to promoting their work.”
The awards are supported by Specialised Textiles Association, Furnishing Industry Association of Australia, Global GreenTag, The Colour Society of Australia, Good Environmental Choice Australia, Kitchen and Bathroom Designers Institute, Australian Furniture Association and International School of Colour and Design.
